If your heart feels anxious &. your mind feels slow...

If your heart feels anxious &. your mind feels slow...

If your heart is anxious and your mind feels slow...

Take a deep breath.

Don't count to 10.

Don't count your blessings.

Just listen.

Breath in so deep your ribs draw in...

Hold your breath and take 1 more sip so that your chest lifts, feeling as if it might burst open, but knowing that it won't.

Hold your breath.

In that moment that your body is stiff and another second holding it all in feels as if it will be your last... hold your breath.

With the pressure built be conscious that pain is merely a sensation yet to have sensation means that you're living.

To choose to exhale means you're full of life and that... that's a miracle in itself.

So as you consciously and collectively choose to release the breath you once hung on to... do so with patience and such leveled slowness so you feel the movement you've created fluidly recharging your body. Know that anxiety is merely a build up of energy that you're completely in control of through simply regulating your body through breath and a slow mind should be desired by all.
